Well I may be one day late, but it's still Christmas season!
Mom and I just watched the video "Santa Paws" and it was a
simple Disney flick that talked about the idea/ concept of
BELIEVING! That's what life is all about (in one way)-
'believe it and acheive it' is my philosophy....
See it and bring it into reality, whatever the desire or dream
may be.
This is the measurable time of year to set grand goals for
yourself, and change or alter any area you wish to. Be it work, home,
your body, your health, anything! YOU NAME IT!!!
Let your dreams become your reality!

I love these words because they reflect our CHOICE ability to live a smooth, easy, content life, rather than feeling locked into something. Challenges will present themselves and there can be growth and learning on some level, if you recognize and accept you choice-making ability.

MILESTONE....

With each new day, I am aware of my ability to do this or that or whatever I choose to do on weekends. My point being that it is a privilege for me to be able to do things; whereas I haven't had the ability to CHOOSE my behaviors or actions because I was always following someones' directions because I was unaware of 'what to think', how to act, or what to say.
And now as my consciousness is growing and blossoming, I will remind myself to take a look at how I'm feeling, think about who's life I can better today in some way, or take the time to observe the beautiful sunset.
Remember that it is our decision to be whoever we want to be!

WE ARE ONE

Today I had a fun, enriching experience at school, where I am a teacher's aide for first graders. I assisted 2 students, one at a time, on writing 3 sentences that reflected from some paintings that they created after reading "Where the Wild Things Are". Their pictures were rich with color as the teacher asks them to use at least 5 different shades of color.
I find the learning process is so interesting to be around; as I somewhat recall learning sentence completion as a major hurdle to jump over.
LET'S ALL CELEBRATE TEACHERS-THEY HAVE SUCH LARGE HEARTS!!!

EXPRESSING PEACE

Perhaps you wish other would act more peaceful around you, well as I've read before
"PEACE AND HARMONY IN MY RELATIONSHIPS BEGINS WITH ME". So it is up to each one of us to put out the vibes we want to get back/receive. It's that simple!

If you are upset or uncomfortable over somebody's behavior towards you, separate yourself and rest in the knowledge that you are doing your best to handle the situation.

At all times, make friends with peace and harmony to prohibit some bad actions....it's your
choice on how to behave at every moment.

It feels so good to me to think, speak (even if I'm speaking to myself), and act on healthy thoughts. I love to picture my brain as a beautifully formed organ that is functioning promtly and acurately; PICTURE WHAT YOU WANT AND BRING THAT INTO BEING....if that is going to serve you.

Predominantely, we are designed to be healthy, fit beings, and so I hold onto that thought, eat fresh, organic foods and my immune system does its masterful job of maintaining my health. Now that I am back in the public schools as a Teacher's Aide, it is my duty to uphold my health and wellness as I enter into the "germ pool" setting of school in this Fall season.

POWER OF WORDS.....

Today has been a wonderful weather day and the colors of Fall are starting to appear all around town. The gorgeous multi-colored leaves on the trees are amazingly beautiful!!!

I went to Barnes & Noble this morning, as I always do on Sunday mornings after I watch Joel Osteen on TV, and I just started reading "An Owl Named Freedom". The author, Jeff Guidry, is living in the Pacific Northwest and volunteering at an animal sancuary. It's quite an educational experience if you are into eagles, owls or wild creatures. Jeff was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hopkin's lymphoma in 2000, and the book is about the healing power of animals and the close connection they form with our spirits. I can relate to this with my 2 dogs as great, close friends of mine. :)

ACTS OF KINDNESS!

here I am in birthday week.....living it up!
Today has been awesome! I started with Yoga class, which is always good, then went back home to get my bike. I rode to the salon where I get my hair cut, next to have lunch at a fabulous coffee/ tea shop, read my book there and rode home. I love bike riding; it always makes me feel so healthy, alive, and fit! I got home and Mom asked if I would like to see a cute chick-flick movie called "Easy A" which had a nice depiction of high school life for teens. Next we went out to dinner at The Robin (Red Robin, that is) and came back home! Total care free fun!
I get to start as a teacher's assistant tomorrow; this'll be my 7th year at this school that is next door. I'll be working with 1st graders and it'll be terrific! School gives me the opportunity to be in a learning environment, spread cheer, and pass around kindness.

health & wealth to you

Well Mom and I took a week long vacation over at the Oregon Coast; we stayed in a town called Manzanita. My sister and her family met us there, so we had a wonderful time together.
The weather was ideal (sunny, mid 70s) which happens about once or twice every few years, and Mom kept smiling at me day after day saying 'this is what I prayed for' and I'ld say 'me too'.

I love how The Lord works in both mysterious and obvious ways to answer prayers and affirm our beliefs about things.

God says "I am listening....know that you can release all concerns to Me.
When you seek healing, know that divine life is moving in and
through every cell of your body. When you are searching for
answers to your financial concerns, know that I am the source
of all your prosperity. Whenever you need Me, beloved, call on

RENEWAL...

I am confident about knowing the fact that 'the way I speak and the way I think' send messages of renewal all over in my body; therefore I am always comfortable. I'm sorry if you are living with pain that you need to manage and deal with. Try speaking some positive words to yourself, silently or out loud if you can.

It is by Karen Shanley and I'm about 2/3 through it and have loved it all along.

Today has been a gorgeous, sunny 80* day here and I took a bike ride downtown to the Post Office and then read my book (Dogs in Dreamtime) at a cool coffee bar named Thump. I love riding my 3 wheeler bike around; it feels comfortable, exciting, and pumps my blood up to a good aerobic heart-rate.

I had a successful day at Physical Therapy today, thanks to the wonderful PT I'm

working with, Mr. Eric Ballinger. He has all sorts of great ideas about how I can incorporate

my right side to be more involved. Of course, that's been the goal of Rich at Acrovision for 6 years now; I'm just so thankful I'm receiving more training, encouragment, and ideas!

Today is the beginning of Summer weather it feels like.....80s, 90s, and 100s all week long

in the forcast. Dry, hot heat- makes for great fun outdoor time!!

Life is SWEET!!!

We had a beautiful day here in Bend, and I went on 3 short bike rides on my 3-wheeler.
Each time I was out, I saw all kinds of people out enjoying themselves; some were walking,
some biking, playing frisbee, dog walking, skate boarding, and others were picnicing.
It felt great to see all the smiling faces and happy people!

Hello! I set up a blog account today, so here I am......
I plan to post some of my inspiring thoughts, some cool images, and some quotes from other
encouraging people. I have a positive outlook and am certain that the best, in ALL situations,
