Hello! Happy Easter wishes to everyone, even though I'm one day late....still.

I heard a great, dynamic sermon on Easter Morning by Joel Osteen, and he said that

"the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is inside of YOU, and you, and you,

and ME...EVERYONE in fact!" Isn't that an awesome reminder? That brings a smile to my heart!

"If one stopped thinking about what others thought, said, and did,

hardly anything would ever bother them again.

5K news

HELLO, BIG NEWS!!
I walked in my 17th 5K, which was called Grin and Bear It, and I was the final finisher, but I COMPLETED it. Mom was by my side the whole time and I used her arm for support during one down hill portion, but otherwise I was ON MY OWN-'yahoo' I say.

This walk was the first of the season, so here I come!!!

WE ARE ONE!

Today is a significant day in history.....YAHOO FOR FREEDOM/ DEMOCRACY.....
Egypt's struggle for Democracy has finally come to an end. I saw them all celebrating and
cheering together as their new life is beginning. We'll see................

I am reading a great book called "Small Change" and I'm about half way through it and
excited to read more to find out what happens in the story. My friend Cameron lent it to me,
said that her family has loved it, so here you go. :)

It's another cloudy, grey day here, so I'll stay in and read.

GOOD THOUGHTS...

When in a hurry, step #1 for changing the entire world,

Whenever I am facing a difficult situation at home, work, or school, I envision myself bringing the light of God's love with me as I enter there. I let the light shine through
all that I say and do as I interact with others.
As I leave, I imagine rays of God's love continuing to shine forth through the conversation of all who remain there.
Wherever I go, the light of love goes with me, and I add something of enduring value to the conversations and activities in which I take part.
